Abigail Koch, PhD

Abigail Koch is a maternal and child health epidemiologist with more than 15 years of experience using data to improve health outcomes. Before joining Trayt Health, she served as a Senior Research Analyst at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and as a Senior Research Specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Center for Research on Women and Gender. Her research has focused on maternal morbidity, perinatal mental health, and clinical quality improvement, and she has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and national reports on these topics.

At Trayt Health, Abby leads population health analytics, drawing on her deep background in epidemiology, research methods, and implementation science to translate complex health data into actionable insights. Her expertise ensures that the content and tools we develop are grounded in evidence, responsive to real-world challenges, and designed to improve outcomes for patients and communities.
