Bio

Dr. Carl Feinstein is Professor Emeritus in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Vice Chair, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California Riverside School of Medicine.

Carl is board certified in Psychiatry and in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. His research interests include psychotherapeutic processes, Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism spectrum disorders, and psychotherapy, genetically-based neurodevelopmental disorders, intellectual and developmental disability, sensory impairment in children, including visual and hearing impairment, and the psychiatric aspects of medical illness and disability in children.

At Trayt Health, Carl is responsible for clinical integrity and thought leadership as well as oversight of clinical insights.

Prior to joining Trayt, Carl was the Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford and founded and directed the Stanford Autism Center at Packard Children’s Hospital. Carl was also on the board at Stanford New Schools and AchieveKids.
