Jared has nearly 20 years of experience leading Technology, Engineering and Security
functions. Jared brings experience leading these areas in companies from 3 to 30,000
employees across a variety of industries with his work taking him to more than 20 countries.
He’s worked across the stack from pulling cables and configuring networks to tweaking CSS for
pixel perfect UI, both as an individual contributor and as a leader. He’s built custom web
applications, integrated enterprise software, developed mobile apps, and published open source
software as well as focusing on security and implementing defense-in-depth solutions at every
layer.
At Trayt, Jared has responsibility for Engineering, Architecture, Security, IT and Compliance.
Prior to joining Trayt, Jared led the global initiative engineering teams at Pear Therapeutics
where he built HIPAA-compliant, scalable digital therapeutics for addiction, insomnia, and other
mental health problems.
Jared currently serves as the Chair of the Academic Excellence Committee for the Industry
Advisory Board (IAB) at the University of Denver (DU)’s school of engineering and computer
science. He is also the president of the DU Bay Area Alumni Network. He volunteers locally with
the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and as a youth soccer coach for his
daughters.
Jared holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Denver and an MBA from the
University of Colorado.
